The Atmospherica Concert Series has been running for just over a year now here in 36 Lime Street in Steve Luck’s studio on Level 2. Experience blissful, uplifting, accessible, ambient, meditative, serene, introspective, soothing, captivating, hypnotic, undulating, delicate, pensive, cinematic music performed close up and live in an intimate recital space in the heart of the Ouseburn.
The concert series is held in our beautiful listed building which is only rarely open to the public and features performances from the finest composers of contemporary classical music, playing on a beautiful 114 year old Bechstein grand piano.
If you enjoy the music of Ludovico Einaudi, Max Richter, Michael Nyman, Nihls Frahm, Olafur Arnalds and others you are going to love this series of concerts.
The next concert is on Thursday 13th June at 7.30pm and features Prague based pianist and composer Theo Alexander who blends tape-loop based drones with contemporary composition and a classical sensibility, resulting music with an arresting and raw quality that is seldom heard in the current piano music revival.
This concert will feature support from Steve Luck.
Tickets are priced at just £8 plus booking fee and are available from www.atmospherica.co.uk
