A collection of artworks by studio member Louise Bradley using drawing as an underpinning medium. Paintings, woodcuts, monoprints, drawings and screenprints illustrate the diversity of Bradley’s work. Using locally grown and foraged flowers and plants as symbolic subject material, worked on through the seasons, she covers themes of fertility, beauty, reproduction, change and transformation.
This exhibition is part of DRAWING.
DRAWING is a programme of exhibitions and events across the North East from November – December 2017 exploring the role of drawing in art, culture and the everyday.
