Explore five floors of the original Ouseburn Warehouse Workshops and Studios. Visit over 30 professional designers, artists, musicians and makers who will be showing and selling work of exceptional quality in our beautiful listed building and at the Ouseburn Pottery. Discover a range of items, including unique gifts for Christmas, to suit everyone’s taste and budget. Meet the makers and commission artworks or bespoke designs in wood, metal, clay, print, paint, jewellery, glass, textiles and much more.

Relax with a hot drink and delicious food at our pop-up café whilst enjoying this year’s gallery exhibition: Small Bites, tasty morsels of art and design to tempt you further within the building. And before you leave, make sure you invest in a limited edition letterpress raffle ticket, featuring a print of members’ work hand-printed by Hole Editions, with generously-donated prizes and proceeds helping to maintain our amazing building.

Musician and composer Steve Luck will be performing piano pieces every half hour in his Level 2 studio.

On Saturday at 11.00 see how to upcycle a chair using proggy (traditional textiles) with Ali Rhind and make a brooch with Ali on Sunday 24 at 11.00 (book via Facebook: @AliRhindTextiles).

Meanwhile, down the slipway, you might catch a pot-throwing demonstration on the potter’s wheel at Ouseburn Pottery.
Papercutting, folding and more with Bethan Maddocks (Level 1)
Come explore papercutting and folding with Bethan Maddocks in studio 1E, where on Sunday she will also be joined by street writer Luke Winter, typewriting stories for visitors, and a performance by She Choir Newcastle
The Ouseburn is accessible via Manors or Byker Metro stations. Buses stop at St Dominic’s Church on New Bridge Street and at the bottom of Shields Road. The Q3 bus has stops on City Road and Walker Road.
Accessibility: The gallery and café on Level 2 are accessible from street level. Level 1 is accessible via the slipway. Please note that all other floors can only be accessed by stairs.
