36 Lime Street is a registered charity (No. 1200138). We provide secure, affordable studio spaces for creative artists and seek to increase wider participation in the arts. In doing so, we contribute towards the regeneration of the building and our local area.
We are seeking to employ a Studios and Building Manager to work closely with our Board of Trustees and our studio residents. In order to keep studio rents affordable, 36 Lime Street relies upon our studio residents working collectively in working groups, as well as taking on individual roles and responsibilities within the building.

The role is primarily a studio management and administrative role, to ensure the smooth day to day running of the organisation. The post-holder will maintain an overview of our policies and procedures, while attending to bookkeeping and minute taking responsibilities, and managing our service and maintenance contracts. The role includes maintaining health & safety records and organising maintenance works as required. The post is also the main point of call for all internal and external communications, including web-management.
We would like to hear from candidates with experience working in 3rd sector or cooperative organisations, or within small charities. We are looking for a highly organised individual, used to working on their own initiative, and who is able to keep an overview of process within developing situations.
We encourage applicants with relevant experience and skills to apply for this role.
The deadline for applications is 5:30pm, Tuesday 3rd September 2024.
