Event times:
23rd & 24th November, 10am – 6pm
Winter Open Studios: 36 Lime Street Studios and Workshops in the Ouseburn, Newcastle, hosts a giant, creative and social art and design weekend.
It’s time to open our big grey doors again to invite you to our Winter Open Studios extravaganza.
Our open studios events are a big celebration where we invite you behind the scenes of our 40+ studio doors for a bustling and exciting event. There’ll be art, design, craft, music, demonstrations and workshops. At this time of year it’s also a brilliant opportunity to get your hands on truly original gifts and treasures made right here in the heart of the Ouseburn Valley by professional makers of the highest calibre.
Explore the wealth of talent over five floors of our beautiful listed building. See how work is produced and chat with the artists about their processes and materials: art, design, jewellery, glass, furniture, architecture, music, printmaking, painting, pottery, textiles and more!
Buy direct! You can commission items as well as buy “off the wall”. Most makers take debit/credit cards (but best to arm yourselves with some cash!).
