Sanja finds inspiration in cloth, fibers and colours.
She likes to explore her own and wider underlying attachments to the nature of ‘cloth’ and how it integrates with other materials.
Sanja makes whimsical creatures from felt and fabric. There is nothing more satisfying to her than designing little creatures to love and to be admired by others – some even get to be adopted!
Sanja also teaches textile workshops from her studio where she shares the entire process of transforming fibres and plant pigments into cloth, with many opportunities for happy accidents to influence the finished product.
