Hole Editions is delighted to announce that it has recently taken delivery of new hand-operated lithography press, manufactured by the Takach Press Corporation (Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA). This new press will supersede the late nineteenth century cast iron press that has served extremely well over the past ten years and will continue service in the printmaking department at Northumbria University.
Lee Turner at Hole Editions wishes to express his thanks to fellow members David Lawson and Peter Flynn, RASKL, Nigel Easter & Paul Hughes, for their assistance in moving and dismantling the shipping crate and installing the press.
The new press will undoubtedly be in action over the course of the forthcoming ‘Artists in Action’ Spring Salon Sale open studio event on the 19th & 20th March.
