To prevent herself becoming a pyromaniac, Zoë had to find a reason that allowed her to play with fire as often as she wanted; being a glass artist turned out to be the perfect choice.
Light, magnification and optical illusion transfixed her and circular forms became a source of fascination in Zoë’s work creating a sense of harmonious symmetry alongside beautiful proportion and balance.
Zoë has worked in the glass industry for 17 years, working for the renowned Danny Lane Studios in London and Cydonia Glass Studio in Sydney Australia creating large-scale glass interior installations.
Zoë is also visiting lecturer at the University of Sunderland, and regularly teaches classes in glass making techniques in her own studio, and for the National Glass Centre and Tuffnell Glass.
Now based in Newcastle Zoë specializes in lighting and interior installations. Also showcasing and selling her one off jewellery designs in many established and well-respected galleries nationwide.
