Fiona has been based at 36 Lime Street Studios for over 20 years. In 1996 she became involved with large scale public artworks – sculpture, gates, railings, seating & signage. Due to funding cut backs & the recession she has changed her practice, her work is now divided between two main areas:

She has a large range of botanical prints featuring flowers, plants, trees & landscapes, many inspired by the Northumberland countryside & further afield, her sister’s garden, the plants & flowers that she grows herself.

The plaster cast plaques are made using plants & flowers. The process creates a 3D raised impressing with a huge amount of detail. She runs workshops to show how to make them. See her website for more details, news and exhibition updates.  Studio visits can be made by appointment, or at the 36 Lime Street Open Studios events through the year.
