Becky creates functuonal ceramics and through playing with glazes has found her style, overlapping, pouring, dripping and mixing glazes to leave her signature burnt raw ceramic. This application of glaze creats landscape like images on her work, inspired by our beautiful rugged Northumbrian coastline and rural landscapes. She is known for her functional boob products and sells work at the Quayside market Newcastle and Tynemouth markets.
Becky also works as a freelance artist in learning, education and the community, Specialising in working with people with learning disabilities and people with mental health issues. She incorporates her knowledge of different creative techniques to work on 3D projects with groups and individuals.
Studio visits can be made by appointment or at the 36 Lime Street open studio events through the year.
